About Us
Last updated: 15 Oct 2026
PeopleList is an online business directory for India. It is operated by PeopleList.
We started with a simple idea: finding a reliable local business should be quick and honest. Every listing on PeopleList is reviewed by our team before it goes live, and you contact businesses directly, with no middlemen and no fees.
What we do
- We list businesses in categories where a bad choice is expensive: solar and power backup, CA and tax services, packers and movers, and real estate agents.
- Businesses add their own details. Our team reviews each listing before it goes live and removes listings that break our rules.
- Customers can read reviews, which our team checks before publishing.
- We publish practical guides so you know what to ask before you hire anyone.
What we don't do
- We don't provide the services listed, and we are not a party to any deal between you and a business.
- We don't hide paid placements. Businesses on a paid plan show a "Premium" label, and paid ads show "Sponsored".
- We don't remove honest reviews for money.
- We don't take commission on work you give a business.
